If you're like most people, you are always looking for a way to save money. Be it for a vacation, bills, emergency fund, etc. there is always a reason. Some ways to save money are easy to see like don't buy what you don't need, don't eat out all the time, shop sales. Some of them can be time consuming, like clipping coupons and comparing sales. We don't want to go all over the place to get what we want, especially after a long day at work, cleaning, or taking care of the kids (or all 3).

Now days, there a lot of skin care products out there. Even in Avon, and more are coming every time we turn around. It's hard to figure out which ones will be best for you. It's time consuming and bank breaking to trying them each out until you can find the right ones, and sometimes the wording can be confusing, or we don't want to really ask for someone else's thoughts. How do you figure out what Avon products are right for you without is being so consuming?

In my last post, I mentioned that Repfest was this past weekend. It is a celebration of the achievements for the last year, a learning tool to help better your Avon business, and a great way to meet up with old friends and make new ones in the Avon world. My favorite things last year were meeting new friends, meeting old friends in person for the first time, getting free stuff (who doesn't like free stuff?), and the Product Expo.

One More Time, with Feeling!

Well here I am again. Looks like I've got this writing every couple of months thing down pack lol. As I wrote in my last post, I've been slacking, and continued to do it since then unfortunately. I haven't been able to get my grove on.

Almost 2 Months Later...

A lot has been going on for us, and a lot hasn't been going on. I've taken a short break from Avon because I was starting to get depressed about it, my anxiety was going through the roof because of my "helper" not listening, and I haven't been able to keep my head straight when it came to it. There is a whole lot going on this weekend! The Rams are taking on the Patriots (GO RAMS!) during Super Bowl 53, there are going to be Super Bowl Parties all over, I am holding a Super Bowl Sale, and since yesterday was February 1st, Avon has some great deals going on for customers and incentives for representatives!

UK vs. KU

Trying to watch the UK vs. KU basketball game tonight. The boys are doing better, but have a lot more room for improvement. What’s more annoying to me is having to listen to Jay Bilas all game. There is 13:10 to go in the second half, and I am so tired of him talking down about UK, well… tired of hearing him speak at all. I would so rather listen to Dicky V. Dicky may be annoying, but at least he’s honest about both teams.

Vendor Booths, Are They Worth Doing?

There is a question that comes up all the time in direct sales, handmade crafts, food services, etc. Is it worth doing vendor events in general or a specific vendor event? No matter how many people you ask, you will always get a different answer with a different explanation about why. The decision is truly up to you, the person who would be running the booth,  and only you.

I'm going to break down some of the basics that you need and may want to have, and what I usually do to figure out whether a event would be worth it or not.

What's in the Works for Joining Avon!

New Avon is doing a lot of stuff for USA representatives right now, and some stuff for customers. You can learn more about some of those things in this post. But they decided they just couldn't leave out those who are thinking about becoming a new Avon Representative. Now, NONE of this information is official. They are letting bits and pieces out, but until Avon puts something in writing, this is all speculation and hear say.

That's right folks. Avon has decided to step into the 21st century and offer you the opportunity to buy online and to sign up to sell online! Not only can you shop our online stores, you can browse our brochure online, and soon you will be able to sign up online to sell without having to wait on your kit and brochures to come in. While you have been able to sign up online, shop our online stores, and browse our brochures online for a while, Avon is now making it a point for us to make sure we get the word out there to let everyone know!

New Year, New Me

Well, here we are. The holidays are finally over, but now it’s time for everyone to start “working” on their New Year’s resolutions. For some, it will go the same way it does every year: we have good intentions, but abandon them for the good old comfort of what they are use to. For some, they will get through the first couple of weeks, then decide what they wanted isn’t happening as fast as they wanted it to, then give up. Finally there are going to be those who stick with their resolutions either for themselves, their kids, or because their choices are do it or face something even harder. I plan on being part of the third group this year, after talking about it for so long.

What Has Avon Done for Me?

When I first started my Avon business in February 2018, I had a lot of different things I wanted to accomplish because of my business. Some of them where to have a reason to get out of the house, to meet people in the community, and to make friends. Fortunately for me, these are all goals that I can continue to achieve and keep as goals because I will always need a reason to get out of the house (not necessarily want, but need), I will need to continue to meet people in my community, and I will always want to make new friends (whether I admit it or not).

What is it about Avon?

Before I came back to Avon, it had been a couple of years since I had worked. I've worked all kinds of places in my life, but none that I loved quite as much as Avon (but armed security and embroidery were a close 2nd and 3rd). I don't know what it is about this company, but being able to make the friends I have, come out of my hole I've dug for the last 8 years, to help reintroduce Avon to people who haven't seen anything about it in years, and to become the Avon Lady for people who lost theirs for various reasons, has just made me feel like such a different person than I was 11 months ago.

Avon 2019: My Goals

Although Christmas hasn't made it here yet, Avon's 2019 season is upon us. This year there has been so much negative going on for us, I am hoping and going to make 2019 a great year for us. I have goals I want to reach, and I am going to reach them. Right now there are three different things I want to accomplish, and with everyone's help I can accomplish them.
