Hello and welcome to Karen's Escapade!

I want to tell you a little about me, and a little about this blog. 

I am a mother, wife, diabetic, and an Avon Representative. While going through many adventures in my life so far, I unfortunately have picked up some issues like depression and anxiety. My husband and children have been helping me manage these for years, but earlier this year, it became worse than normal. I really didn't have any friends I talked to (just Facebook stalked and liked pictures and statuses every once in a while), I didn't leave my house unless I absolutely had to, and I was "burying" myself deeper everyday. I decided I needed a change, and decided to look into what it would take to get back into selling Avon (I sold before in 2008 or so). I began this newest escapade on February 2nd, 2018, with the simple goals of getting out of the house, meeting new people, making friends, and learning the area I have lived in for 9 years and had yet to learn. 


I have still struggled since starting. I have a consistency issue. I haven't gotten many customers yet due to taking care of hurt family members, having to have my appendix out, not healing right from the surgery, and just letting my issues take hold of me sometimes. Right now I am trying to work on my consistency problem (and still failing at times), keeping my issues at bay, and building my business to do all of my goals I originally set and so many more. 

There are a few different purposes for this blog. One is to help me get different sales and deals out there for my customers and potential customers to see. There are a lot of different products that Avon has that I love to share, but not everyone has social media to see them.

Another reason is so I can put into words what I am going through, struggling with, celebrating, and just generally what is going on with me. I feel like one of the best ways to help me is to put all of it down in actual words, allowing me to sort through my issues easier, not allowing them to eat at me.
