My name is Karen Hayden, and I'm an Avon Representative and a Promoter in Avon's Leadership. Here is a little about me and my Avon journey.
I was a stay at home mom and wife who hid from the world. I decided I needed to get out of the house, but did not have anywhere I really wanted to go. Knowing that I wanted to make friends, help out the house, and still have the freedom of being where I needed to be for my family when they needed me to be there, I knew there was something that could help me do all of these things, but not quite sure what it was yet. One day in February 2018, I was thinking about my past jobs, and thought, I had fun selling Avon before, maybe that is what I want to do. After looking at different videos and websites online, I decided that Avon was the answer and became an Avon Representative.
While struggling with my anxiety about going out to talk to people, I have continued to read, watch, and learn from the great leaders of Avon. I set goals of the things I wanted to do, and added goals like reaching President's Club ($10,000 in sales) by the end of Campaign 26 (the last campaign in the Avon year, ending December 11th, 2018); earning an all expenses paid trip to Los Cabos, Mexico, in June of 2019; and attending RepFest 2019 (Avon's annual Representative Conference) in August in New Orleans.
Although I am still a little shy and still have a lot to learn, I am determined to be the best Avon Representative in Richmond, Kentucky. I am willing to go out of my way to do what my customers need me to do when they need me to do it. I am happy to help you find that product you use to use ages ago or suggest something that Avon now carries that is just as good. If you need help doing a fundraiser, I am willing to go through the different fundraising options Avon has to find the one that best fits your fundraising needs. If you just want to look at a book, and have someone to vent to, I will be there for you for that also. Even though I have been hiding from the world, I am still a caring person who will warm up to you, usually rather quickly, and will consider you a friend, and treat you like one also.

2018:
- I attended RepFest (Avon's annual conference) in Columbus, Ohio in July, meeting a lot of Avon Representatives, getting to meet some of my friends from Avon face to face for the first time, and learning from top representatives how to grow my business and reach all of my goals.- Received a pin from the Pinning Streak Incentive (reach 3 established goals in your first 3 campaigns).
- Become a Promoter in Avon's Leadership.
-Received the Oak Tree Locket from the Rake in the Cash Incentive (sell a certain amount between Campaign 20 and 21).
