Starting off Slow and Finishing the Day Strong

Today has been another interesting day for me. I started out sluggish thanks to not going to bed on time again. Once I finally got going today, the day got busy and I haven't really stopped.

The first good thing that happened is that Avon announced Online Fundraising! I am so happy that we have access to this now. I feel like I will be able to help organizations a lot better because there isn't any flyers, no collecting money, no work for the most part aside from registering the fundraiser, spreading the word about the link, very minimal paperwork, and handing over the check when it is done. This is super exciting and I can't wait to be able to get my first one started.

What's New Demo Books

While I love the fact that Avon offers representatives the opportunity to order demos (even multiples depending on which rank you are in the President's Recognition Program), I dislike the fact that sometimes they are out of stock on items, even on the first official day of ordering them.

This holiday season is not going to be an exception. So I decided to offer you all, my customers, the opportunity to buy items when they are still considered demos. This may give you the chance to get something you want that may or may not be there the first day they can be ordered (the day after I collect your order).

Hello and welcome to Karen's Escapade!

I want to tell you a little about me, and a little about this blog. 

I am a mother, wife, diabetic, and an Avon Representative. While going through many adventures in my life so far, I unfortunately have picked up some issues like depression and anxiety. My husband and children have been helping me manage these for years, but earlier this year, it became worse than normal. I really didn't have any friends I talked to (just Facebook stalked and liked pictures and statuses every once in a while), I didn't leave my house unless I absolutely had to, and I was "burying" myself deeper everyday. I decided I needed a change, and decided to look into what it would take to get back into selling Avon (I sold before in 2008 or so). I began this newest escapade on February 2nd, 2018, with the simple goals of getting out of the house, meeting new people, making friends, and learning the area I have lived in for 9 years and had yet to learn.
